What we know
Kevin Viveros is the subject of transfer interest from Aston Villa. The story began on 30 Sep, when Birmingham Mail and TEAMtalk reported that Aston Villa had made contact and were watching him regularly.
On 11 Oct, three outlets — Yahoo Sports, Fichajes.net and RTI Esporte — carried claims that Villa are weighing a bid; Yahoo and Fichajes both referenced an £18m or €20m figure, while RTI Esporte stated that a meeting with his representatives had taken place but did not confirm negotiations were advancing. BBC Sport then reported on 12 Oct that Villa are weighing an £18m bid, and Nogomania added that Villa have contacted people about a deal considering an offer of around €20m, though no formal bid has been submitted. RTI Esporte, the source of the original report, notes that the meeting alone does not indicate a breakthrough or an imminent exit.
No formal offer has been submitted, per Nogomania.
