What we know
Chelsea are rekindling their pursuit of Manchester City attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki, with several outlets describing a potential permanent move for the 2027 window. His contract at City runs to June 2030.
The story opened on 6 Oct when Fichajes.net reported renewed interest; the same day TEAMtalk, FourFourTwo, Yahoo Sports, FootballTransfers, Vital Football and others echoed the claim, most attributing it to that report. FootballTransfers returned on 30 Oct with a €90m asking price and noted PSG and Real Madrid as rivals, while TEAMtalk linked the talk to possible City FFP sanctions.
FootballTransfers stresses that the €90m figure is an asking price, not a formal offer, and no source reports a bid having been lodged.
