On 21 Oct TuttoMercatoWeb added that Juventus could invest in defence in the winter window, noting the historic appeal of the bianconera shirt for Italian defenders; Tribuna echoed that story the same day, listing Juventus alongside three other Italian sides as interested parties. None of the three outlets reports a formal bid having been tabled; Blasting News, TuttoMercatoWeb and Tribuna all stop short of confirming an official approach.
