Source track record · Tier 2 · Established
Marca appears in 3 of the audited transfer rumours and is an independent origin of the reporting in 2. It has 1 settled case so far; a percentage needs at least 3, so none is shown.
These figures are estimated by an automated count of the rumours we audited, not a judgement of Marca, and they can contain mistakes. If something here is wrong, tell us on the contact page with the address of this page and we will check it against the sources; if the figure cannot be backed up it is corrected or removed.
One case per outlet per settled dossier, and only when the outlet is an origin of that dossier's reporting: copying another outlet earns neither credit nor blame. It was right if it reported a move that was then confirmed, or denied one that was then dismissed. Interest that never materialised is not held against it. The archive has 31 settled dossiers; these are the ones where Marca was an origin. Its tier (Tier 2 · Established): Major national or international sports media; generally reliable but sometimes relays others’ scoops. Full rules: methodology.
