Warren Bondo

Executive Summary

Warren Pierre Bondo, born on 15 September 2003, is a French central midfielder who stands 177 cm tall and prefers his right foot. He is currently contracted to AC Milan until 30 June 2029 and finds himself at a decisive moment after a season on loan at US Cremonese.

Playing Style and Key Attributes

Bondo operates as a box‑to‑box midfielder with a low centre of gravity that lets him press aggressively and retain possession in tight spaces. His right‑footed distribution is clean over short and medium ranges, and he reads the game well enough to intercept passes and launch counter‑attacks. Physical setbacks at Cremonese interrupted his rhythm, but his underlying engine and tactical awareness remain intact.

Career and Recent Context

He moved to AC Monza in July 2022, spent a brief spell at Reggina in early 2023, then returned to Monza before joining AC Milan in January 2025 for a €10.5 million fee. A loan to Cremonese in December 2025 (€500 k) yielded 28 appearances but ended in relegation and recurring fitness issues.

Transfers and Outlook

Lille, Lens and Stade Rennais have all expressed concrete interest, while Sassuolo and former club Monza have opened talks for a permanent return to Serie A. Last summer Bondo turned down offers from Turkish sides Çorum and Erzurumspor as well as MLS club San Jose Earthquakes, preferring a move within a top European league. With his agents pressing Milan for a resolution and several Ligue 1 clubs monitoring the situation, the next transfer window will determine whether he revives his career at the highest level or accepts a step down for regular minutes.
