Central MidfieldDenmark22 years oldPlays for Silkeborg IF
Villads Westh, a left‑footed central midfielder born on 25 April 2004, is contracted to Silkeborg IF until 31 December 2029. He arrived from Kolding IF in January 2025 for €335 k and has become a regular in the side’s midfield.
Westh works from a 182 cm frame, using his left foot to dictate tempo. He favours short, incisive passes that open space and links defence to attack without over‑committing. His positioning and willingness to track back help shield the back line. The next step is to increase his confidence when carrying the ball forward under pressure, which would round out his box‑to‑box profile.
The Danish youngster started at Boldklubben af 1893 before moving to Randers FC U19 in January 2021. Since then he has featured in the majority of league fixtures, contributing to the team’s midfield balance.
Silkeborg’s contract until the end of 2029 signals a long‑term plan for Westh. Rumours of interest from other Danish clubs have circulated, but no formal bids have materialised. The club retains a strong negotiating position should a move be pursued.
