Vanja Dragojevic

Executive Summary

Vanja Dragojevic, born on 11 January 2006, is a Serbian defensive midfielder who moved to Rangers FC in July 2026 on a contract running to 30 June 2030.

Playing Style and Key Attributes

Dragojevic sits deep as a number 6, using his positional awareness to break up attacks and launch quick passes. His right foot provides reliable distribution, often finding teammates on the flanks. He shows good stamina for a midfield anchor, though aerial duels and handling high‑press situations have been flagged as areas for improvement.

Career and Recent Context

Returning to Partizan in December 2024, he broke into the first team in early 2025, eventually becoming a regular starter and captain in 2024‑25, recording four goals and four assists in 41 league matches. Rangers secured his services for a reported fee of €5 million.

Transfers and Outlook

A release clause of £12.75 million has been reported. Limited game time at Ibrox this season has reduced his visibility, which may temper short‑term market growth despite the high release clause.
