Samir El Mourabet is a central midfielder for RC Strasbourg Alsace. Born on 6 October 2005, he has established himself as a key presence in the midfield. He earned a spot in the Morocco squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
He functions most effectively as a defensive midfielder within a 4-2-3-1 formation. Standing 187 cm, he utilizes his left foot for precise long-range passing and cross-field switches. His technical foundation allows him to dribble past defenders and keep possession under pressure. He needs to gain musculature and improve his natural pace. Finishing and aerial ability are still developing traits.
He returned to the club in 2022, progressing from the U19s to the B team. His professional debut came in early 2024. He is currently under a contract that runs until the summer of 2030.
This was a significant jump from €2 million a year earlier. There is no public information regarding a release clause.
Paris Saint-Germain are monitoring central midfielder Samir El Mourabet for a potential transfer. The major player has a contract running until 2030.
