Ricardo Pădurariu

Executive Summary

Ricardo Alexandru Pădurariu, born on 23 May 2007, lines up at left-back for FCSB. The defender returned to the club in June 2026 after a season-long loan at Corvinul Hunedoara where he started 31 Liga 2 fixtures and helped the side win promotion. General manager Mihai Stoica named him the best player on the pitch during the first half of a pre-season friendly against Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, a signal that the coaching staff view him as a first-team option for the 2026-27 campaign.

Playing Style and Key Attributes

EA Sports FC 27 assigns an overall rating of 64, with pace (73) and dribbling (69) the standout attributes; defending (58) and physicality (62) lag behind. Stoica's public comments emphasised his impact in transition, noting the 175 cm left-footer's capacity to cover ground quickly and link with attackers. The Corvinul spell supplied regular senior minutes against experienced opponents, sharpening positional sense and one-on-one resilience. Shooting (44) and passing (61) indicate the final ball still needs work, though his engine supports repeated forays down the flank.

Career and Recent Context

Pădurariu progressed through the academy, moving to the reserves in January 2024 and earning a first-team call-up a year later. A brief stint at Gloria Bistrița in May 2025 lasted only weeks before he rejoined FCSB, then headed back to Corvinul for the full 2025-26 season.

Transfers and Outlook

Stoica has framed Pădurariu as the likely answer to the U21 registration rule, hinting he could start week one. No release clause has been disclosed, and the player himself responded publicly to owner praise in July, suggesting mutual commitment. With Ronny Labonne arriving for the right side, the left flank appears earmarked for the academy product. Interest from abroad has not surfaced in open channels, but a strong Superliga season would inevitably attract scouts from leagues where attacking full-backs command premium fees
