Pierre Kalulu is a versatile centre-back currently playing for Juventus FC. Born on 5 June 2000, the French international has become a mainstay in the Italian defense.
The defender offers tactical flexibility, operating both at centre-back and right-back. At 182 cm, he relies on smart positioning and game reading rather than raw physicality. He is right-footed and provides a consistent level of performance. While he lacks the height of some elite-level central defenders, his defensive awareness is a noted asset for Luciano Spalletti.
Kalulu developed through the Olympique Lyon academy before moving to AC Milan in 2020 for €1.4m. He spent four seasons in Italy, making 112 appearances in total. He moved to Juventus in 2024 for €3.3m, a deal that was later made permanent in January 2025 for €14.3m. He has since made 92 appearances for the Bianconeri, scoring three goals and providing eight assists.
English clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham have monitored his progress. Juventus reportedly demand a minimum of €50m if a bid comes to the table. The club is currently negotiating a contract extension to keep him beyond the current expiry in June 2029.
Liverpool are targeting defender Pierre Kalulu for a potential summer move. The French centre-back is viewed as a right-back option.
Paris Saint-Germain and several Premier League clubs are interested in Pierre Kalulu. Juventus is currently working to finalize a contract renewal for the French centre-back before the end of the year.
