Pedro Morisco

Executive Summary

Pedro Luccas Morisco da Silva, born on 10 January 2004, guards the net for Coritiba Foot Ball Club. His contract runs until 31 December 2027. A senior Brazil call‑up in September 2026 marked his arrival on the international stage.

Playing Style and Key Attributes

At 191 cm and right‑footed, he dominates the aerial zone and reads crosses with calm authority. Shot‑stopping is his trademark; after returning from a hand fracture he posted eight clean sheets in nine matches and topped the Sofascore goalkeeper rankings across the world’s top 20 leagues. Distribution is measured, favouring short, safe passes that let Coritiba build without unnecessary risk.

Career and Recent Context

He entered Coritiba’s academy in 2013 and earned a first‑team promotion in July 2023, making his Série A debut against Botafogo on 29 November that year. A contract extension followed in June 2024, but a hand injury sidelined him for three months early in 2025; he returned in May and immediately strung together the clean‑sheet run.

Transfers and Outlook

European scouting networks are monitoring his progress closely. With two years left on his deal, any move would likely command a significant fee.
