Paris Josua Brunner is a German centre-forward, born on 15 February 2006. He plays for AS Monaco. The sporting moment is a sharp breakout under Filipe Luís in 2026-27. He has six goals in his first seven games across all competitions, four of them in five Ligue 1 matches. The club sits top of the table unbeaten. He also scored a late winner against Liverpool in a pre-season friendly at Anfield in 2026.
He is right-footed and 186 cm. Detailed technical scouting is thin in the available sources. What is documented is output and timing rather than mechanics. No explicit weaknesses or stylistic traits are described in the sources.
Youth steps were Eintracht Dortmund, Rot-Weiss Essen, VfL Bochum and then Borussia Dortmund from 2020, moving to U17 in January 2021 and U19 in May 2022. In August 2024 he left Borussia Dortmund U19 for a fee of €4m. He moved to Cercle Brugge the same month and returned in June 2025. Last season he played just 127 minutes across seven appearances and did not start, under Adi Hütter and Sébastien Pocognoli. Under Filipe Luís he started the first three league games. The run has been a clear change in usage and production.
