GoalkeeperBrazil20 years oldPlays for Cruzeiro Esporte Clube
Otávio Eleodoro Rezende Costa is the primary goalkeeper for Cruzeiro Esporte Clube. Born on 27 December 2005, he has transitioned from a prospect to a reliable starter. He is currently one of the most talked-about young keepers in Brazil.
Standing at 192 cm, Otávio provides a physical presence in the goal area. He is a right-footed shotstopper with high ratings compared to his peers in Série A. His shotstopping reflexes remain consistent throughout the season. While his build is commanding, he needs to refine his distribution under pressure. He displays impressive composure.
He developed through the Cruzeiro academy, signing his first professional deal in 2022. He spent 2025 as the third-choice option without making a competitive appearance. The situation shifted in 2026 following injuries to Cássio and struggles for Matheus Cunha.
He is tied to his current club until December 2031. While no official release clause is public, his performance level makes him a high-value target for European scouts.
Tottenham are reported to be interested in Cruzeiro goalkeeper Otávio. fotbolltransfers.com and CaughtOffside describe the interest as the club assesses reinforcements and considers him as an alternative for the future.
Napoli are monitoring the situation of Brazilian keeper Otávio. The Italian club is tracking the Cruzeiro player for a potential move.
