Oğuz Aydın is a right-footed winger currently representing Fenerbahçe. He was born on 27 October 2000. He has established himself in the squad since a major move last summer.
Aydın uses significant pace to bypass defenders on the left wing. His dribbling skills help him keep the ball close under-pressure situations. Standing at 183 cm, he handles physical duels well but his defensive metrics are still low. He recorded five goals in eleven appearances during the previous season. Improving his long-range passing would make him a more complete creative threat.
His path began at the AZ Alkmaar academy before a move to Turkish football in 2016. He developed through Buca Gelist Spor and Karacabey Belediye Spor before joining Alanyaspor in January 2021 for €1.1 million. He provided a consistent output there over 77 matches, scoring 13 goals total. Fenerbahçe acquired him for €6 million in July 2024. In the current season, he has scored twice and provided three assists in 379 minutes.
His contract lasts until 30 June 2028. No specific release clauses or active transfer negotiations are currently reported.
Aston Villa are linked with a mid-season move for Fenerbahçe left winger Oğuz Aydın, with reports describing interest ahead of an approach in the January window. His contract at Fenerbahçe runs to 2028.
