Lukas Nmecha, born 14 December 1998, operates as a centre-forward for Leeds United. He stands 185 cm and favors his right foot. The German international arrived at Elland Road in January 2025 on a free transfer from Wolfsburg.
Sources describe him as powerfully built with technical skills honed at Manchester City. He can drift into pockets and press man for man, as seen in Leeds' formation change against City. His right-footed shooting creates chances, though recent output shows 10 goal contributions in 37 appearances last season.
Nmecha spent over a decade in Manchester City's academy, making three first-team appearances between 2015 and 2021. His career moved through Preston, Wolfsburg, Middlesbrough, and Anderlecht before returning to City and then Wolfsburg again. At Leeds, Daniel Farke has used him sparingly behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin, offering 10 Premier League starts last term.
Contract runs until June 2027, with talks described as fluid and his future "being assessed". Wrexham showed interest in August, but Leeds resisted selling without a replacement.
Köln are targeting Leeds striker Lukas Nmecha for January, per multiple German outlets on 18 Oct. They see him as cover for injury problems.
