Left-BackItaly22 years oldPlays for Atalanta BC
Lorenzo Bernasconi is a left-back for Atalanta BC. Born on 16 November 2003, the Italian defender is currently breaking into the senior squad. He has seen limited action during the 2026/27 football campaign.
Standing at 190 cm, Bernasconi provides a physical presence in a modern wing-back role. Coaches view him as versatile; he is capable of operating in midfield or at central defense when needs arise. While his left foot produces a high volume of crosses, his accuracy remains a clear area for improvement. In recent displays, he sent eight balls across without finding the target.
He developed through the youth ranks at Cremonese before moving to the Primavera in 2021 for €200k. After various stints between the U23 side and the parent club, he recorded 42 appearances last season, contributing 3 goals and 12 assists. A permanent move back to the first team in January 2025 led to his Serie A debut against Lecce. Since then, he has accumulated 206 minutes of play with an average rating of 6.5.
Juventus are showing serious interest, potentially targeting a winter-window move. This deal could involve a swap for Juan Cabal. The club have the player under contract until late June 2030 and are keen to retain him.
Newcastle United are monitoring Atalanta left-back Lorenzo Bernasconi.
AC Milan are reported to be interested in Atalanta left-back Lorenzo Bernasconi to strengthen the left flank. Reports describe ongoing interest rather than a bid.
