Karim Konaté is an Ivorian centre-forward born on 21 March 2004. He is currently with Red Bull Salzburg and opened the 2026-27 Austrian Bundesliga campaign under Danny Röhl with an 89th-minute winner against TSV Hartberg, before featuring in the 3-3 Europa League draw at Pafos on 13 August.
Public scouting detail on his game is thin. The available record lists a right preferred foot and a 178 cm build. Match reports note his late impact off the bench, with the Hartberg winner coming as a substitute in the 89th minute.
He rose through ASEC Mimosas, moving from the U19 group to the senior side in January 2019. In January 2022 he joined the Austrian side for €3.5m, then dropped to FC Liefering in February 2022. He returned to the senior squad in December 2022. The recent run shows a revamped team under Röhl, with Konaté used as an impact option early in the season and involved in European fixtures.
His contract runs to 30 June 2028. No concrete transfer rumours surface in recent coverage, which instead focuses on teammates such as Adam Daghim’s expected move to Hoffenheim and Edmund Baidoo’s stay.
