Executive Summary

Jhon Jáder Durán Palacios, born on 13 December 2003, is a Colombian centre-forward. He plays for SL Benfica and stands 185 cm with a left foot. The sporting moment is mixed after a strong start in Europa League qualifying.

Playing Style and Key Attributes

He operates as a big-man striker who lives in the box. At Aston Villa in 2024/2025 his shots-per-90 ranked in the 98th percentile and touches in the penalty area in the 91st. Offensive duels sat in the 78th percentile and aerial duels in the 82nd, while defensive duels also reached the 98th percentile. Dribbling volume remains lower. Portuguese analysis sees him as an area alternative and a possible partner for Vangelis Pavlidis, suggesting he plays more centrally, exchanges positions, and leaves the left flank to a winger.
