GoalkeeperTürkiye22 years oldPlays for Galatasaray
Jankat Yılmaz is a Turkish goalkeeper born on 16 August 2004, currently registered with Galatasaray on a deal that expires 30 June 2027.
He is left‑footed and stands 193 cm tall, giving him a natural reach on high balls. Data from the club’s scouting portal rates his reflexes at 68, positioning at 65 and handling at 63, while footwork sits at 58 and jumping at 55. The numbers suggest a keeper who reads shots well and distributes cleanly with his feet, but who may struggle to dominate aerial duels against taller attackers.
Yılmaz entered the Galatasaray academy in March 2019, progressing through the U16, U17 and U19 sides before joining the first‑team squad in January 2022 and signing a professional contract that July. A loan to Adanaspor began in July 2024; he returned in January 2025, then moved to Eyüpspor in December 2025 before re‑joining Galatasaray in June 2026. His senior league record for the 2026‑27 season shows a single Süper Lig appearance.
The recent pattern consists of short loan spells designed to secure playing time, culminating in his return to the Galatasaray goalkeeping group for the upcoming campaign. No release clause or concrete external interest has been reported.
