Gessime Yassine operates as a right winger for RC Strasbourg Alsace. He was born on 22 November 2005. The Moroccan international is currently establishing himself as a creative force in the Ligue 1 attack.
Yassine plays on the right flank but prefers his left foot to cut inside. Coach Hugo Oliveira describes his style as "street football." This approach is spontaneous. He never attended a traditional training center. At 172 cm, he uses a low center of gravity to dribble through challenges. While his technical skill is high, he needs more physical strength to handle top-tier defenders.
His journey began with Istres youth levels before a move to Marignane-Gignac-Côte-Bleue in 2023. He joined USL Dunkerque in April 2024 and eventually transferred to Strasbourg in January 2026 for €7m. He has been impactful since arriving, notably scoring a double in a victory against Lens.
He is signed to a contract until 30 June 2030. This long term gives the club significant leverage.
Several clubs are currently monitoring Gessime Yassine at RC Strasbourg Alsace. Chelsea, Brighton, Newcastle United, Sunderland, Brentford, Everton, and Nottingham Forest are all reportedly tracking the right winger.
Chelsea are linked with Strasbourg right winger Gessime Yassine, with reports describing interest and advanced talks rather than a completed deal. His contract at RC Strasbourg Alsace runs to 30 June 2030.
