Estêvão

Executive Summary

Estêvão Willian Almeida de Oliveira Gonçalves, born 24 April 2007, is a Brazilian right winger currently at Chelsea FC. The start of the campaign under Xabi Alonso has been difficult. Minutes are scarce, frustration is growing, and reports suggest he is already weighing a move away ahead of January.

Playing Style and Key Attributes

He is listed as left-footed, 178 cm. He arrived at Stamford Bridge with huge expectations after standing out for Palmeiras. Sources available do not detail specific technical traits beyond that profile.

Career and Recent Context

Early Premier League action has been minimal: seven minutes total in the opening rounds, a late cameo against Fulham, unused against Brighton, and a single start in the Carabao Cup in a rotated XI.

Transfers and Outlook

The 3-4-2-1 set up by Xabi Alonso has limited his opportunities, and reports indicate he has voiced concerns about a secondary role. That has opened the door to a serious look at options in the January window.
