David Otorbi is a right-footed winger. Born on 16 October 2007, he has emerged as a promising prospect at Valencia CF. He recently moved from the reserve side into the first-team rotation.
Otorbi operates best on the right but possesses the versatility to play on the left. At 180 cm, he carries a physical frame that suits his direct running style. His ball carrying is a primary weapon, often using pace to bypass defenders in tight spaces. He also shows impressive grit in tackle resistance, which suggests a high defensive work rate. Still, his defensive positioning and finishing need refinement to become a complete threat.
His journey started at local Atlético Cabanyal and CF Malvarrosa before joining the academy in 2019. Otorbi became the club's youngest-ever debutant in a Copa del Rey match in January, followed by a historic La Liga debut against Barcelona later that year. In the current 2026/27 season, he has already secured his first top-flight goal.
He is currently tied to a contract until 30 June 2028, which includes a three-year extension option. While no formal bids have arrived yet, his rapid ascent puts him on the radar of clubs seeking wide talent.
Newcastle United is monitoring David Otorbi as a potential addition. The English club is reportedly researching the Spanish winger.
