Standing at 178 cm, the right-footed midfielder uses balance well. Bakola possesses good dribbling ability in tight spaces and an impressive passing range. He still needs to refine his defensive discipline to master the role at the highest level. His game reading allows him to find space that others miss.

After breaking into the Marseille first team in 2024, he moved to Sassuolo in February 2026 for a €10m fee. Since arriving, he has become a regular rotation in Serie A, averaging a rating of 7.48. He showed maturity against big opposition like AC Milan and Juventus.
His value skyrocketed to €15m last September, reflecting his rapid ascent. Top clubs like AC Milan, Roma, and Juventus are tracking his progress. He remains under contract with Sassuolo until June 2030. Expect the price to climb even further if he continues this trajectory in Serie A.
AC Milan are targeting Sassuolo midfielder Darryl Bakola for the upcoming winter window. The French central midfielder is seen as a potential addition after impressive performances against them.
