Daniel Vasulin

Executive Summary

Daniel Vašulín, born 11 June 1998, is a 195 cm right‑footed centre‑forward who currently lines up for FC Zbrojovka Brno in the Czech 1. Liga.

Playing Style and Key Attributes

He is described as a poacher who can also operate as a pressing forward, target man or shadow striker. His frame gives him a clear aerial advantage and the ability to hold up play, while his movement in the box is geared toward finishing rather than deep link‑up; passing and possession involvement remain modest for a forward asked to combine regularly.

Career and Recent Context

He helped Chrudim earn promotion to the second tier, then moved to FC Hradec Králové in May 2020, returned briefly to Chrudim in December 2020, and rejoined Hradec in June 2021, contributing to the 2020‑21 Czech National Football League title and promotion to the top flight. A €240 k transfer took him to Viktoria Plzeň in January 2024; a one‑year loan to Sigma Olomouc followed in July 2025, after which he returned to Plzeň in December 2025 and signed for Brno in January 2026. In the 2026‑27 season he has logged 869 minutes, scoring five goals without an assist and posting an average rating of 6.9. Notable outings include a 71‑minute, one‑goal performance in a 2‑1 win at Slovácko on 18 October 2026 and an 86‑minute shift in a 2‑1 home victory over Artis Brno on 12 September 2026. He made his senior international debut on 29 September 2026 against England in the Nations League, having previously earned two caps for the Czech U20 side in 2019.

Transfers and Outlook

His contract with Brno runs until 30 June 2029. The past year featured three club changes — Plzeň, Sigma Olomouc, back to Plzeň, then Brno — and no public release clause or concrete transfer interest has been reported; the immediate focus is on establishing continuity at his new club.
