Breno de Souza Bidon is a central midfielder born on 20 February 2005 who plays for Sport Club Corinthians Paulista. He is a left-footed product of the Corinthians academy now established in the senior squad, operating primarily as a holding midfielder with regular minutes across competitions in the 2026 campaign.
Bidon is described as a holding midfielder who has also been used as a ball-winning midfielder, a box-to-box midfielder, a shadow striker, a deep-lying playmaker and as an advanced playmaker. Naturally a defensive midfielder, he has been deployed higher up the pitch this season to good effect. The profile points to positional flexibility in midfield and an ability to contribute in build-up as well as in defensive duties.
His contract expires on 31 December 2029.
Interest is growing abroad, with Manchester United reportedly identifying Bidon as a midfield option for 2026. Reports via Sport Witness citing Brazilian media put a potential fee around £10.1 million. Football Transfers lists his current transfer value between €21.7M and €26.6M, with his last transfer being the 2024 move from Corinthians U20 to Corinthians.
Arsenal are monitoring Corinthians midfielder Breno Bidon for a potential move. His contract runs to 2029.
Arsenal and Juventus are both interested in Corinthians midfielder Breno Bidon. Bolavip, reporting on 2 Oct, says Arsenal is studying an offer above €25m to outbid Juventus, with no formal proposal yet.
