Bazoumana Touré is a left winger for Newcastle United. Born on 2 March 2006, he moved to the club in May 2026. He is currently establishing himself under manager Matthias Jaissle.
Touré relies on explosive pace. He attacks directly. During his last Bundesliga season, he recorded more sprints than any other player. He uses his left foot to drive at defenders, seeking space rather than just recycling the ball. His defensive work remains minimal—he focuses on high-intensity transitions.
He began at ASEC Mimosas before moving to Hammarby in April 2024 for €445k. That stint saw nine goals and three assists in 23 matches, leading TSG 1899 Hoffenheim to pay €10m in January 2025. In Germany, he made 45 appearances, contributing five goals and 15 assists. Since his arrival, he has largely featured as a substitute, scoring once in his first 80 league minutes.
His value reached €50m in July 2026. This is a jump from the €15m a year prior. The Magpies secured him until June 2031, giving them immense leverage. Several clubs reportedly tracked the Ivorian before his record move to the top flight.
Bazoumana Touré has been linked with a move away from Newcastle United only months after his summer arrival, with Arsenal and Manchester United named as suitors.
Arsenal and Liverpool are monitoring Bazoumana Touré, with TEAMtalk (14 Oct) reporting both clubs are keeping a close eye and could move later. His contract at Newcastle runs to June 2031.
Manchester United and Arsenal are tracking Newcastle United winger Bazoumana Touré, with BBC Sport and four other outlets reporting the same interest on 15 October. His listed contract runs to June 2031.
