Bartosz Mazurek is a Polish central midfielder born on 3 January 2007. He is currently with Red Bull Salzburg. The move arrived in January 2026 after a steady climb through Jagiellonia Białystok. Europa League minutes in late August 2026 show early integration at senior level.
Scouting notes describe him as an attacking midfielder who operates in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3. He is a rangy athlete with excellent agility, balance and coordination. Body control is strong and the frame is still developing. Ball progression is a clear strength.
Vision stands out. He delivers pinpoint through balls, often with an outside-of-the-boot flick to catch a defence. Shooting is precise and powerful, finishing is reliable. Basic technique and ball control allow him to dribble past defenders and create threat.
In possession he favours the centre-left channel, cutting inside to shoot or combine. He drops deep to link play and then makes smart runs in behind. His preferred foot is right, used with confidence, and he uses his left well.
Mazurek grew up at Jagiellonia Białystok. He moved from the youth set-up to U19 in January 2023, then to Jagiellonia Białystok II in January 2024. First-team promotion came in January 2025.
Recent action came in Europe.
