Artur Shakh

Executive Summary

He joined the club in August 2026 on loan from Karpaty Lviv. Operating primarily as a forward, he has recorded seven goals and five assists in his first eight competitive appearances for Lechia. His rapid output has placed him under close observation ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

Playing Style and Key Attributes

Shakh is a dynamic ball-carrier with explosive acceleration and strong close control. He drives forward effectively, using quick shifts of weight and rapid touches to move the ball over long distances. His compact build and low centre of gravity help him navigate tight spaces, particularly when collecting possession in the left half-space. He is clinical as a finisher, capable of scoring with both feet, and his right-footed shot from distance is notably powerful. Defensively, he initiates the press as the first line of pressure for his team.

Career and Recent Context

Shakh began his senior pathway at UFK Lviv before moving to Karpaty Lviv in January 2022. At Karpaty, he developed into a regular option, showcasing the athleticism and technical ability that defined his later breakthrough. His transfer to Lechia Gdańsk in August 2026 marked a step up in competitive level. His performances have drawn attention from outside Poland, marking him as a high-upside attacker on the move.

Transfers and Outlook

Shakh is currently on loan at Lechia Gdańsk, with the deal not including a buy option. His contract with Karpaty Lviv is scheduled to expire on 30 June 2027, leaving his parent club in control of his long-term future. His strong start in Poland has positioned him as a player of interest for clubs in stronger leagues. No formal bids have been reported, but his profile as a versatile forward makes him a target for teams looking to add pace and goal threat. His next move will depend on his continued output and the decisions made by Karpaty Lviv.
