What we know
AC Milan are monitoring Bayern Munich defender Kim-jae for a potential move in January or next summer. The South Korean centre-back has a contract running to 2028.
Reports suggest either a loan or a permanent deal. The story emerged on 29 Sep when Corriere dello Sport, Prosport.uz, and Milan Reports indicated that Milan are considering the defender. Corriere dello Sport suggested a fee of around €25m if he is no longer in Bayern's plans. On 30 Sep, DeadlineDayLive and Yahoo Sports mirrored the interest, specifically describing a short-term loan where enough covers all wages. TopMercato reported on 1 Oct that a winter loan is being prepared, per Corriere. By 10 Oct, MSN claimed the interest also includes Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, and Juventus.
Milan Reports says the move depends on whether Bayern confirms he is not in their plans.
