What we know
Bayern Munich are reportedly among a new wave of clubs interested in Lucas Herrington, with football360.com.au and d7rnews.com both naming the German giants as monitoring the centre-back. The reports describe a watchlist situation rather than an active bid, with the Bavarian club joined in their interest by Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.
Herrington’s contract at Hull City runs to June 2031, giving the English club a long-term hold over his future. The story broke on 9 July, with football360.com.au leading the reports by naming Bayern Munich as part of a "new wave" of interested clubs. Later that same day, d7rnews.com echoed the sentiment, adding Barcelona to the list of suitors and describing the situation as one being monitored by five major European clubs. Both sources stop short of claiming any concrete movement, framing the situation strictly as reported interest. No denial has been issued by Hull City, Bayern Munich, or the player’s representatives.
football360.com.au attributes the broader interest to its own reporting, while d7rnews.com does not cite a specific origin for the monitoring claim.
