What we know
Arsenal are reported among several Premier League clubs monitoring Fulham attacking midfielder Josh King. Reports link interest to a possible January move, with a high asking price cited.
His contract at Fulham runs to 2029. The story began on 5 Oct, when 4-4-2 said Arsenal, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund were keeping a close eye on King, with Mikel Arteta convinced of his qualities. The 4-4-2 attribution was repeated by several outlets, including MSN. On 7 Oct four outlets including The Sun and Football London carried the report, with Football London citing 4-4-2 and putting Fulham’s valuation at £51m. Football Insider reported on 9 Oct that Arsenal and Manchester City are among those keeping tabs, a claim echoed by CaughtOffside. Goal says on 18 Sep no formal approaches have been made as yet, with King fully focused on events at Craven Cottage.
BeSoccer says a winter move is unlikely given a €60m+ fee and contract until 2029, per BeSoccer.
