What we know
Flamengo have been linked with a move for Olympique Marseille winger Igor Paixão. Several Brazilian outlets, all citing an interview with Band, say the winger’s agents have held talks with the Rio club, while his contract at Marseille runs to June 2030.
The first reports appeared on 4 Oct, when Sporting News and O Tempo quoted Paixão confirming contacts but stressing that no concrete offer had been made; Sporting News described the talks as an agreement in principle, yet still said no official proposal had been lodged. On 5 Oct Goal and Terra repeated the same line, again noting the absence of a formal bid. On 30 Oct TopMercato added that Vasco da Gama and Palmeiras are also monitoring the player.
All of the sources agree that a formal offer has not yet arrived, per Goal.
