What we know
Haaland is linked with a future move to Barcelona. Barcelona and Real Madrid are monitoring his situation at Manchester City, with interest focused on a potential move in 2027.
His contract at City runs to 2034, but his camp has already communicated transfer fee and salary demands to Barcelona for a future deal. The story began on 16 Sep, when ESPN reported that Barcelona and Real Madrid believe Haaland could be available next summer and are exploring a move. Also on 3 Oct, Yahoo Sports and Sportbible carried claims that Haaland wants to go to Spain, with Barcelona and Real Madrid as primary targets, attributing the story to TEAMtalk.
