An earlier denial no longer counts: a later, dated report from another source overtook it. It stays in the table below.
What we know
Dennis Politic, a Romanian left winger on loan at FCSB, is being considered for a move to FC Botosani. FC Botosani have expressed opposition, with the club's president seeking alternatives.
Meanwhile, Valeriu Iftime from FC Botoșani has rejected the transfer idea during recent discussions. Reports developed rapidly in late October. Sport reported on 12 Oct that FC Botosani would not accept the player for free. Digi Sport followed on 13 Oct with details of ongoing talks. An earlier denial appeared on the same day from AS, stating that Politic was not a viable solution for FCSB and the team was searching for alternatives. This earlier denial has been superseded by newer reports of active interest. Sources remain divided on timing, with speculation about January versus immediate action. The player's contract expiration provides flexibility for potential moves.
Monitoring the deal is Digi Sport.
