What we know
Alessandro Plizzari, the Italian goalkeeper currently at FC Südtirol, sits at the centre of multiple transfer rumours. Earlier sources painted a different picture.
In August 2020, AC Milan announced transferring Plizzari's registration rights to Reggina on a temporary basis. By 2022, SempureMilan reported a permanent signing to Delfino Pescara that ultimately failed. Now, the 2026 social media post presents Milan as the decisive buyer, resolving the conflicting narratives. Some details remain unclear. AC Milan's official statement from 2020 explicitly denied the rumor, stating the player went to Reggina temporarily.
The 2022 failure at Pescara was also rejected by the club itself.
